10gR2 Clustered: where and how to script opening of wallet on each instance
675225Jun 29 2009 — edited Aug 17 2009This is a an RHEL 4 installation of 10gR2 (10.2.0.3) OCR (also version 10.2.0.3) is starting each instance automatically, as documentation says. But we are looking for a good solution to script the open of the wallet on each database instance. This is an issue because we are having infrastructure problems with our SAN that causes it to "bounce" the RAC nodes under certain load or configuration changes. Up to now we have to touch each instance to set the wallets open. Inconvenient in the extreme. Of course, fixing the infrastructure to keep the nde form bouncing will be best solution, but need a quick interim workaround. Anyone with experience on this able to advise? Thanks.
