Oracle Linux 6.5 rngd read error

Hi,

I have installed rngd service on ORACLE LINUX 6.5 but for some reason when i try to start the service it fails with a read error. I couldn't see any log files associated with it. It looks like it needs systemd but unfortunately systemd is not on Fedora/Redhat/Oracle Linux 6.5. Systemd is only available from Linux 7. Please let me know how to proceed.
