HVM vs PVM

Hi all,
Before guests installation need to plan whole VM environment
and of course a question arises which method will be better for applications.

Please help with your advices.
Which virtualization method is better for Oracle RAC databases
HVM(kernel UEK), HVM (kernel XEN), PVM (kernel UEK) or PVM(kernel XEN).
(OS = OEL5.7)

I installed all these and I can say that even in phase of Linux startup PVM is
faster x2.
Share with you experience....
any suggestion are welcome.
