remove a tablespace

Hi,

I removed a tablespace from a Oracle 8i database with the option Remove fom OEM. It was a tempoary tablespace empty. But the datafiles of the tablespace were not been removed. Can I remove them by hand writtind:

rm /oradata/ordata_temp/OPENTEMP1.dbf, etc ?
