Hyperion Data form Formula

Hi All,

I have a simple data form taking 2 cols as Actual and Budget for period Jan.

I have added a third formula col and in the segment property panel I wrote formula as [1]-[2].

But its not working and getting error "circular reference".

Can anyone please help . I am using this formula function first time.
