Migrating database from Win-64 to Linux-64.

Hello.

According to doc 413484.1, these platforms are compatible and supported in Data Guard. Does it mean that we can easy migrate between these platforms, for example:

1. Copy cold backup from Windows to Linux and open database ? Are all database files compatible (controlfiles, datafiles, redo logs, password files) ?

2. Use RMAN "duplicate" from Windows to Linux ? Do we need after this convert database with RMAN "convert" ?
