Hello All,

I'd like to point out a new open source persistence framework from Amazon that is currently being discussed on TheServerSide:

http://www.theserverside.com/news/thread.tss?thread_id=42847

Carbonado works with Berkeley DB and/or an SQL database as the back end. This is quite an accomplishment. I have taken a look at it and my personal opinion is that it is quite elegant and easy to use. I recommend that you take a look.

If you have comments or questions on Carbonado itself I suggest that you post to TheServerSide discussion.

If you are wondering how Carbonado compares to the DPL, we've written an FAQ on the topic:

If you have questions or comments about the FAQ, feel free to post here.
