1) COULD YOU PLEASE TELL ME , IS IT WORTH DOING 10g DBA COURSE.
I think this will be very good to you, Oracle 10g has so many new funtionatilies, different tunning methodology, grid, the new OEM (DB Console), and much more.
2)WHAT ARE THE OPPURTUNITIES FOR A DBA. AND WHAT ARE THE >>FUTURE GROWTH
The Oracle market keep growing each year, and the companies need more and more good DBAs (The market have a big quantity of DBOs but not many really good DBAs).
3)WHAT IS THE COURSE DURATION FOR 10g DBA?
Depend of the course. DBA I, II will be a 5 full days course or a 10 days part time course, and the Tuning will be 4 full days course or 8 days part time course.
4)HOW MUCH WOULD IT COST ME TO COMPLETE THE COURSE FROM >>AN AUTHENTIC COURSE PROVIDER.
DBA I arround US$ 3000
DBA II arround US$ 3000
Tuning arround US$ 2400

One more note:
Use the OTN forum over and over, not only to make questions, but to read and learn regarding so many different situations. In my opinion the OTN forum is one of the best places to learn Oracle.

Dear Mohamed,
Yes, the Oracle University costs are very high. I will recomend you to get some tutorials in the internet, download some oracle from OTN to install on your pc and practice and practice. You can download very good material to study from http://tahiti.oracle.com/ like :
1) http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14231/toc.htm
2) http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14196/toc.htm
The best I can recomend you, is start learning first how Oracle works, like architecture, Instance, etc, then SQL/PLSQL.
Please, registre to my blog. I'll then contact you to send you some good material to help you in your first steps.

Hi,
WITH THE COURSE FEES IT SEEMS TO BE VERY HIGH AND VERY COSTLY TO ME
Well it is indeed high for a private candiate like you if you want to do the course on your own.But there is a good thing about it too, actualy too.One , you would get teh course materials which will be latest with proper testing done over it.You would be able to enjoy the hands on experience of doing the labs in Oracle's strictly controlled environment which will make sure that you see all the features "in action".The most important part is that Oracle courses comes with 100% StudentSatisfaction Guarantee which is very important. If by any reasons (valid ones , see thelist of things included for the same ) , you are not happy with the course quality,Oracle would allow you to retake the course even.I am not sure anwhere or anyone else does the same.In OU,there is a very strict guideline for making sure that the student is happy and this is an effort to do that only. Not achieveable from anywhere outside!
2)WITH THE TIME FRAME SHOWN , IS DBA COURSE SO LITTLE??PLS...
If you are asaking that the course which is there in Wkshop 1,2 is so little,I would respectfully disagree. Its actually very exhaustive. And the main reason for being it in that way is that the course ( in 10g) doesnt talk about specifically any topic as like in previous versions. Its a mix of all teh important topics which are considered to be useful for an aspiring DBA.But as they are all in one packet, you need to work hard to get a good grasp over it.Its not at all a small or crash course.
3)CURRENTLY I WORK AS (I T) TECHNICAL SUPPORT IN A PRODUCTION COMPANY HERE IIN DUBAI.AND MORE OVER IN DUBAI THEY SEEK DBAs WITH EXPERIENCE OF 4 YRS OR GREATER.
Its the same everywhere.Try to get a trainer/junior dba job so that you can understand things first.
1a) IS THERE ANY OTHER COURSE PROVIDER FOR ORACLE DBA WITH LESS FEES.
There is some thing called WorkForce Development Program (WDP).This makes anyone who is enforcing it an authorised provider for Oracle courses. The fee is less at these institutes. But again, they are not authorised to teachthe entire course stack as well. You can check out in your place which are the parteners and how much they are charging for the course.I would had told you some if you were in India.
2a) I'M WILLING TO SPEND TWO MONTHS ON ORACLE DBA.
Well I would say its a wrong approach.2 months,2 years,20 years , n years are not at all some thing which one can say that he/she would spend. All I would say is just start and keep going with patience. Its not soemthing which is a set of few commands and bttons that you would finish learning in 2/n months. It will take time.I remember after 2 initial months,I used to think that PGA is on client side .You would be fr sure much better than me but just telling you my experience.
3a)AND AFTER FINISHING THE COURSE HOW DO I GET EXPERIENCE AS A FRESHER.?
Search , search ,search! Ther eis no answer sadly for your question. Its something that you only have to figure out.I told you one option , start as a trainer ,it will help.

Mohamed,
PLease don't use capital case in your posts. It is termed as shouting and it make the post difficult for reading.
THERE ARE RICH NUMBER OF FREE E-BOOKS AVAILABLE IN VARIOUS SHARING SERVERS. THEN WHY SHOULD I BUY FROM AMAZON.
Which e-books?If there are any e-books freely available on the sharing sites, well legally you are voilating the copyright but I guess,I or anyone can't stop that from happen.
HERE I'M LOOKING FOR ppt OF ORACLE 10G DBA.AND I COULDNT FIND ANY FOR ppt.
If you are looking for Oracle's books than those powerpoint slides are strictly copyrighted. In any case, their usage outside oracle classrooms or without being authorized is the voilation of copyrighted material.
F U HAVE ANY LINK THATS AVAILABLE FOR THE SPECIFIED PLS FORWARD ME.
I am sorry. If I shall find a site which is having Oracle ppts hosted,I shall try to report it to Oracle so that it can be removed from there.I wont be able to help you in finding any illegal material.

Hi Aman...
Thanking you for the concern.
It seems u r too looped to think that there are no pirated e-books available.
Millions of e-books are available all around for downloading, they are all free .
Even oracle provides most of the e-book in pdf format. There are lots of other white papers published in otn forums. And i cant understand y u r so worried and more regulative.
And i have got the required material for study purpose through a good hearted fellow DBA. And what measures was there to stop us from transferring those files( ppt). Absolutely NOTHING. Nor u could stop us from transferring. So i beg u to stop gimmicking about copy right or any other issues.
Any ways thanking you for all concerns.
