Hi all,

I am trying to deploy an application make in JHeadstart, that include a graph with an statistic. The deploy on the envebed OC4J is OK, but when I try to deploy the app on an Standalone OC4J, I get that message:

500 Internal Server Error

Servlet error: An exception occurred. The current application deployment descriptors do not allow for including it in this response. Please consult the application log for details.

Somebody has any idea?

Thanks

Hi Tony,

Did you install the adf runtime installer on the stand-alone oc4j? That way you would have the newest adf runtime libraries. The easiest way to do this is, is directly from jdeveloper. Select: Tools - ADF Runtime Installer - Stand-Alone oc4j and follow the instructions.

If this doesn't solve your problem you would have to take a look at the application server log file and see what exactly goes wrong.

Thanks for your reply Ruud,

I have installed the adf libraries, I thougth the problem was produced by the graphs, but now I am not sure, because I had that problem on other ocasion. I will continue investigating for that.

Thanks

The exception you get is not very specific.
If you want to know the complete error message and stack trace you must deploy the
application in "development" mode. To achieve this you must perform the following:
I assume you have a JDeveloper Application Server connection named "ConnectionName".
- Right-click the deployment profile and select "Deploy to ConnectionName"
- In the "Configure Application" dialog box you have the option to edit certain
deployment options.
- Select the web-app on the left side of the screen. On the right side of the screen
there is an option "development". Set the value to "true" and deploy your application.

Now when you access the application (page) in your browser you will see the complete error message.

Joyce,

Please work with Oracle Support to resolve this, since the error you get is not related to JHeadstart.
